Abstract
A digital-computer algorithm is described for synthesizing Fourier transform holograms to be used as spatial frequency filters. The spatial frequency content of the hologram is reduced over that obtained by the conventional off-axis method. Experimental results are shown where a "TI" pattern is reconstructed. An optical analog is also described. Keywords
