Abstract
T/S ratio, thyroid weight, and plasma protein-bound iodine (PBI) concentration were obtained in four strains of rats. Significant strain differences were found for T/S ratio and thyroid weight. Differences in PBI concentration were not significant. The T/S ratio varied inversely with the ratio of thyroid weight to body weight. No significant correlation was observed among T/S ratio, PBI, and thyroid histologic appearance. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
