Flotation Technique for Extracting Eggs of Diabrotica spp. and Other Organisms from Soil

Abstract

In a simple, inexpensive, and rapid method of flotation, 80% of eggs of Diabrotica spp. and other fauna were extracted from the soil. The method involves use of a sucrose solution and commercially available glassware and a magnetic stirrer.
