Abstract
Light-Sensitive Eruption Due to Diuril vs. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Presented by Maurice J. Costello, M.D. A 61-year-old white woman first noticed an eruption on the face, arms, and legs about 6 weeks ago. This eruption began on the dorsum of the right hand and rapidly spread to its present extent. The lesions consist of sharply marginated erythematous eruptions on light-exposed areas which in some areas are covered with a fine psoriasiform scale. There is a history of multiple sclerosis dating back 7 years. She has suffered from a diminished hearing, difficulty in walking, and loss of bladder control. There is a history of having had an eruption, which was called psoriasis, on a light-exposed area 12 years ago. There have been several similar short-lived episodes of a dermatitis on light-exposed areas on 2 or 3 occasions since that time. This present eruption began after a brief exposure to sunlight whileThis publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
