Abstract
An ultra-wideband free-space sensor for electromagnetic fields has been developed on the basis of a shielded loop antenna. Absolute calibration has been carried out experimentally and theoretically. The sensor has more than four octaves bandwidth and a non-differentiating time-domain response. Keywords
