Abstract
Data on all patients with pineal body tumors and suprasellar germinomas seen over a 25 yr period were reviewed. Of 19 patients treated, 15 are still alive. Although treatment techniques varied, all patients received irradiation to the primary tumor site but not to the spinal cord. The tumor dose ranged from 4000-5500 rads using megavoltage equipment. A dose of 4500-5000 rads given over a period of 5-6 wk was recommended. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
