Abstract
The angular distribution of neutrons emitted in LiLi) breakup reactions is calculated directly from one of the reaction mechanisms, viz. Coulomb dissociation. The shape of the calculated distribution agrees quite accurately with recently measured neutron data. This provides a test of the calculated dipole strength in at low excitations.
