Auger energies of free atoms: Comparison between experiment and relativistic theory

Abstract
Kinetic energies of the Auger transitions are calculated with the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method for selected elements for which reliable experimental free-atom data are available. A critical comparison between calculated and experimental data is presented.Keywords
