Abstract
Serum albumin was assayed with bromcresol purple using routine clinical chemical photometric analysers. Bromcresol purple and bromcresol green dyes were compared, and albumin assays using these dyes were compared to those made by radial immunodiffusion and rocket immunoelectrophoresis. Bromcresol purple seems to be intensitive to all serum proteins except albumin, and this dye is correlated linearly with radial immunodiffusion and with rocket electrophoresis. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
