Hypothyroidism and chemodectoma in father and daughter: a new syndrome of a coincidence?

Abstract
A family is described, in which the father and one daughter were found to suffer from primary hypothyroidism and chemodectoma. We could not find any previous description of this combination. The possibility of a new syndrome is considered.
