Cultural Eutrophication Is Reversible

Abstract
Cultural eutrophication of lakes quickly causes algae and macrophytes to cover a bay with scum, form hairy filaments to enslime shorelines, and clog an entire lake. Principal fish and fish food populations change. Sources of nutrients are from raw and treated urban and agricultural sewage, erosive rural drainage, and culturally enriched rain.
