Abstract
Inelastic magnon scattering of neutrons (λ = 1.124 Å) on a single crystal of Cr2O3 at a temperature of 85 °K is investigated by the neutron diffraction technique. The magnon dispersion relation is measured along several tracks in the reciprocal space. A calculated dispersion relation, including four different exchange integrals Ji, is fitted to the experimental results. A good fit is obtained for: J1 = −0.2 meV, J2 = −0.5 meV, J3 = −3.3 meV, and J4 = −7.4 meV.Keywords
