A new species of Holcaphis (Homoptera: Aphidoidea) together with a key to the British species

Abstract
Halocaphis agrostidis was found on the grass Agrostis stolonifera, in the North East of England. Descriptions are given for fundatrix, apterous viviparous female, alate viviparous female, apterous oviparous female, and male. Only 2 other spp. are known from England: H. frequens and H. holci, and a key is given for distinguishing the 3 spp. A table is given showing the means and ranges of measurements of H. agrostidis.
