Abstract
Disc diffusion zone diameter breakpoint criteria for ofloxacin were tentatively established by correlating minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) with 1, 3 and 5 .mu.g disc inhibitory zone diameters for 638 bacterial isolates representing 36 spp. Use of 5 .mu.g discs with the following breakpoints was recommended: susceptible (MIC .ltoreq. 2.0 .mu.g/ml), .gtoreq. 16 mm; intermediate (MIC 4.0 .mu.g/ml), 13-15 mm; and resistant (MIC .gtoreq. 8.0 .mu.g/ml), .ltoreq. 12 mm.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
