Abstract
After total extirpation of the salivary glands in 6 dogs the average daily water intake was not increased (making it improbable that the salivary glands play a major role in the thirst mechanism) and the buccal mucosa remained healthy and moist.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
