Asymptotic behavior of the ground-state charge density in atoms

Abstract
The long-range behavior of the electronic charge density of ground-state atoms is considered. A rigorous upper bound to this function is derived and is found to be an exponentially decreasing function, which depends on the ionization potential and an effective nuclear charge.Keywords
