Abstract
The thickness of foils used for transmission electron microscopy can be determined by using both the line intercept method of determining dislocation density and the exit counting method. Foils of iron and iron alloys measured in this way had thicknesses of 3500–4000 Å, a result also given by two other ways of measuring. Keywords
