Abstract

An approximation method for determination of vibrational resonance parameters, based upon the invariance of anharmonicity constants against phase changes, is described. Several examples, including resonances in the spectra of CO₂, OCN^-, CH₃I, and some 1,1-disubstituted ethylenes, are given.
