Abstract
We previously proved that the bulk valence bands of an intrinsic semiconductor slab unit cells thick are electrically neutral to order providing reflection symmetry exists through the central plane. Here we extend that proof to the physically most-interesting case of (111) diamond structure slabs which lack the reflection plane.
