Suffer the Children Act

Abstract
A 16-year-old girl in your care persistently spurns food. A boy of 15 refuses anti-psychotic drugs after a violent outburst against a nurse. A 17-year-old woman rejects a Caesarean delivery in the face of urgent clinical need. What would you do if any of these young people appealed to you to help them carry out their choices to refuse care or treatment? And what would you do if medical staff rejected their decisions?
