Abstract
The kinematic-singularity structure of helicity amplitudes for Compton scattering from arbitrary-spin hadron targets is obtained by an analysis based on the crossing relations. Explicit formulas are given for a complete set of amplitudes free of kinematic singularities and zeros in both variables. These amplitudes are, however, subject to constraint conditions at special points. The constraints are not studied here. Keywords
