Abstract
Measurements of the in‐phase collective OH stretching band in the Raman spectrum of H2O/H2O2 mixtures have been carried out over a wide range of compositions and temperatures. At low mole fractions (2O2 introduces defects into the tetrahedral network of the water molecules, whereas at higher concentrations the behavior is interpreted in terms of a reduction of the vibron bandwidth resulting from reconstruction of the hydrogen bond network to one of lower average coordination. Keywords
