Abstract
Unusual acid-fast bacteria were found in smear examination, tissue section, and bacteriologic culture from skin biopsy specimens of 3 patients with scleroderma. Consideration should be given to them as possible etiologic agents until the significance of the presence of these organisms and their pathogenicity is more clearly established. Keywords
