Abstract
A census of churring male Nightjars in 1981 produced a total of 1,784 birds. It was estimated the total number that year could not have exceeded 2,100 birds. The contraction in range from the north and west (shown by the Breeding Atlas)continues, together with a reduction in numbers. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
