Abstract
There are apparently unbound receptors for estrogen in nuclei of smooth muscle cells of the [rat] myometrium. A new model for distribution of unbound receptors is proposed in which unbound receptor is in equilibrium, partitioned between nucleus and cytoplasm according to free water content of these intracellular compartments. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
