Abstract
The upper and lower bounds of rate constants for general mammillary three and four compartment systems have been derived. It is further proposed that the midpoints of the bounds can be used as initial estimates for parameter estimation. Numerical examples are given demonstrating the closeness of the calculated midpoints to the “known” rate constants of both the three and four compartment systems. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
