Abstract
51 white rats received daily injs. of metrazol for a period of 24 days. 7 animals died during or a few mins. after a convulsion. 4 days after the last inj. of metrazol the animals were started on a 14 unit multiple-T water maze and received one trial a day until they reached the criterion of mastery of one errorless trial. A control group of 53 animals, litter mates of the above group, mastered the water maze under the same conditions of learning. No significant differences in trials or errors involved in learning a 14 unit maze resulted from the daily injs. of metrazol. The metrazol animals required a slightly greater amt. of time in learning; the difference, however, was of doubtful significance statistically. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
