Abstract
No apparent effects on the parasitoid Apanteles rubecula Marshall were observed after completion of its development in larvae of the imported cabbageworm, Pieris rapae (L.), treated with a juvenile hormone analogue. Emergence, longevity, and sex ratio of A. rubecula were not affected. A topical dose of 3 ng/larva (0.9 µg/g-larva) resulted in 73% of P. rapae larvae surviving to the pupal stage. About 50% of the pupal survivors of the 3 ng/larva treatment were malformed. Keywords
