Abstract
A study in which systematic changes in serum inorganic P were observed during glucose tolerance tests in normal and alloxan-treated dogs. Results show that the ratio A G/A P is a useful indicator of insulin function and is less affected than the Staub effect by malnutrition and other factors that impair carbohydrate storage or utilization. Keywords
