HYPOGLYCAEMIA AND CONGENITAL ADRENAL HYPERPLASIA

Abstract
The case history of a child with congenital adrenal hyperplasia [a complication of 21-hydroxylase deficiency] which was complicated by recurrent hypoglycemic episodes during common infections is reported. There are few reports in literature on the association of hypoglycemia and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Hypoglycemic attacks in adrenal hyperplasia are perhaps more frequent than recorded in literature.
