Community reintegration and quality of life following spinal cord injury

Abstract
This report contains a brief overview of issues related to community reintegration and quality of life for persons with spinal cord injuries. Current data from the National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center are provided on place of residence, employment, education and marital status after rehabilitation discharge. The health policy implications of these data are discussed along with prospects for continued improvement of long term social outcomes and directions for future research.Keywords
