Abstract
We study the effects of temperature on line profiles of Cs perturbed by Xe in a square-well potential approximation. Its simplicity has allowed for the first time to perform an average on velocities in the unified theory of Anderson and Talman. The more important changes concern the satellite characteristics both for position, width and asymmetryKeywords
