Abstract
The flux density on the endcore plane of turbine generators is determined by the Biot-Savart law applied to the current sheets representing the endwinding current distribution of stator and rotor, as well as on their mirror images with respect to the end-core plane. It is assumed that there are no other iron boundaries present. The effects of stator and rotor are determined separately and must be combined vectorially for determination of the total effect. Keywords
