Abstract
A patient with homozygous-S sickle-cell disease complicated by malignant (fibrous) histiocytoma arising within a tibial medullary infarct is reported. This is the ninth reported case of human sarcoma associated with bone infarct and the first associated with sickle-cell disease. Evidence for a causal relationship is presented. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
