Observation of Structure in Invariant-Mass Distributions fromandInteractions

Abstract
New data on the inelastic scattering of and by nucleons show a significant excess of events at large invariant mass (), reflecting the high- anomaly and an enhancement in scattering centered at GeV with properties consistent with the production of new baryon states.
