Abstract
"The investigation described in this paper was a test of the hypothesis that group psychotherapy using action methods has measurable effects on patients' behavior. From this hypothesis it was deduced by the investigators that certain changes in a patient's performance as measured by the various instruments used would appear following the therapy interval. The null hypothesis with respect to each of the test measures was tested by comparing the changes from first to second measurements in a Test and Control Group of Negro schizophrenic patients."
