Abstract
A radioanatomical study of the ascending pharyngeal artery has been performed. Based on 10 injected specimens of anatomical material and 8 superselective, normal and pathological angiograms. The meningeal role of the ascending pharyngeal artery and its anastomoses with the middle meningeal and/or occipital arteries is emphasized. Keywords
