Abstract
After a survey of the literature on ostracod occurrence and distribution in the Øresund, the author records results from a new investigation based on samples from 47 different stations located in all the main parts of this sound. In all, 57 species are now known from the Øresund, 28 of which are recorded as new for the area. This fauna is divided into 5 groups according to their geographical distribution, the latter being mainly dependent on salinity boundaries. Keywords
