Abstract
The number of applications for piezo-electric and pyro-electric PVDF films has multiplied in recent times following the arrival of high quality films on the market. A mere look at the scientific publications and more particularly the patent applications will show that interest is growing all over the world. Since 1961, there have been more than 1,000 publications on the piezo-electricity and pyro-electricity of PVDF or its copolymers. Keywords
