Abstract
A meteor radar with peak power well into the megawatt range was built for use near Ottawa and has been operated intermittently since 1961. The pulse transmitter produces 4 MW at 33 Mc/sec and no serious difficulties have been encountered in 1 200 hours of use. Details of the design are discussed. Keywords
