Abstract
Neutron resonance interactions with were studied at a time-of-flight facility. The transmission of two oxide samples (97.4% ) was measured at a 78.20 m flight path and the neutron capture cross section was measured at 40.12 m. Resonance analyses yielded parameters of 124 resonances. Capture -ray spectra from 11 resolved resonances were measured with a Ge(Li) detector at a 10.45 m flight path. In contrast to neighboring nuclei, partial radiation widths of strong -wave resonances are not in agreement with valence model predictions.
