Abstract
Incomplete total cross sections have been measured for K+ scattered by He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe in the range EΘR=2–100 eV deg. Here E is the energy of the K+ beam, and ΘR is the nominal resolution angle of the apparatus. The cross sections have been analyzed to obtain estimates of the potentials in the region of the attractive well. The results are compared with other theoretical and experimental work on these systems. Keywords
