Abstract
Abnormal levels of hormones can exert profound changes in drug disposition and the number and affinity of receptors. In endocrine diseases a variety of organ functions change. These disease related changes in the function of organs involved with the distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs can profoundly alter drug disposition. If not taken into account when devising dosage regimens drug toxicity can result. Keywords
