Abstract
The author discusses differences between denaturation brought about by irradiation and that caused by heat, alcohol, acetone, and oxidizing agents. The influence of electrolytes, pH, sterility, photo-sensitizers and miscellaneous factors upon the results; of irradiation are reviewed, as well as the physical and chemical changes themselves. A few physiological applications are given. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
