Abstract
This study records the existence of epithelial modifications in both the sperm and uterine ducts of the trematode Gorgodera amplicava. Electron optical observation emphasizes the prominence of protoplasmic processes on the free surface of epithelial cells of the ducts of the reproductive system and notes the presences of similar extensions on the surfaces of eggs, prior to shell hardening. It is suggested that the role of the protoplasmic processes is to permit greater molecular transport. Keywords
