Abstract
A high-resolution vacuum-ultraviolet spectrograph utilizing an echelle is described. The optical line-up procedures are given for photographing the H-Lα line at 1216 Å. The performance of the instrument as a rocket solar spectrograph, and as a laboratory instrument, is outlined. Keywords
