Abstract
A fission-spectrum neutron dose-rate attenuation curve has been computed by the Monte Carlo method for lithium hydride penetrations up to 67.5 g/cm2. Gamma-ray exposure dose buildup factors have been computed for lithium hydride using the moments method. Discrete gamma-ray source energies in the range from 0.5 to 10 MeV were used, and calculations were made out to 20 mean free paths (at source energy). Keywords
