Effect of Mirroring on Convective Transport in Plasmas

Abstract
The effect of magnetic mirroring on convective transport in a thermal plasma with ergodic field lines is investigated by computer simulation. It is found that mirroring significantly enhances convective transport and estimates show that this effect can be important for existing fusion devices.Keywords
