Abstract
To the Editor: The subject of early surgery of strabismus has been bandied back and forth quite a bit and has, more particularly, come to mind with the recent article by Daniel Taylor of Connecticut. It seems to me wise for me to reaffirm in a letter to the editor my position and feeling on this: I have always felt, and still do, that early surgery of the large congenital esotrope is sensible and important. By early surgery I mean as early as the age of six months. There are several reasons for this. Keywords
