Abstract
A flow injection configuration is proposed for the determination of five parameters (pH, conductivity, residual chlorine, ammonium and nitrite) of interest in the control of water quality. The system includes three different detectors (potentiometric, conductimetric and photometric) suitably positioned in a reversed flow injection configuration. Conductivity and pH are monitored continuously and the other three parameters are determined by sequential injection of conventional photometric reagents, for which a conventional photometer or diode array photodetector can be used. Keywords
